Ink Review:
Kobe #62 Nunobiki Lavender

Overall Impressions:
A pretty lavender that looks like it has pink undertones on some types of paper. It's relatively wet flowing and dries to a pale color with some shading.

Shading: Yes, from a light lavender color to a medium purple.
Sheen: I didn't see any sheen.
Water Resistance: Low. A faint pinkish line remains.
Nib Creep: None seen.
Ease of Cleaning: Seemed easy to clean out of the pens.

Tomoe River Paper:
Dry Time: Fine nib; around 20 sec
Water Resistance: Legible after one swipe with a damp water brush, but mostly washed out by a wet brush. A faint pinkish line remains.
Writing Samples: A little bit of shading in the EF nib, and shading with the F and B nibs. There was no feathering or bleedthrough. There was light showthrough.

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to do this ink review! I do like the color, and it seems to perform well.

Aaaand I also have a pen with Sailor Fuji Musume which looks a lot like this one... thank you for he nice review :)

When I first tried this ink, I wasn't sure I liked how it looked. But after using it for a while, the color really grew on me. I think I may end up looking for others in the same color range. I searched for reviews of Sailor Fuji Musume and they do seem similar! I may try that one at some point.

I have this, but Sannomiya Panse suits me more.

I liked both of them, but Sannomiya Panse seems like a more versatile ink. I think this one would be nice to use in the spring.

In my pens and on swabs on TR 52 gsm, my Fuji Musume/Fuji Sugata separates into 3 colors: lilac, cyan, purple-red. Is this normal, seeing as how this is not referred to as a multichromatic (? proper term) ink.

Does Nunobiki Lavender separate as well, or is it one solid color (shading excluded)? I think I would like this color. Meanwhile, I order a sample of Diamine Lavender.

I've noticed the same thing, so I vote for "normal".

Great review, thank you!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
