So far today it's been finishing the fill in a couple of pens to get through the morning pages: the 1990s era Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoise, F nib, with diluted Edelstein Smoky Quartz; followed by the Sailor Pro Gear Slim Purple Cosmos, zoom nib, and diluted old formula Sailor Sky High. The M400 is now being flushed out, and once I completely empty the Pro Gear Slim, it's next up to be flushed.

In the meantime, the next pen to be used will be the Forest Green Parker 51 Aero, EF nib, as I finish up putting vintage Quink Washable Violet through its paces and see how it compares to other similar purples I've already tested. And then, possibly, the new Pelikan M600 Violet and White, EF nib, still with its initial fill of Edelstein Topaz -- just because.... (I used that pen a fair bit yesterday, proofreading my husband's resume; he got laid off out of the blue on Tuesday morning, but already has had a phone screen with another company that he thinks went well -- interesting sounding work, and he impressed the guy enough in the phone screen that I think they're setting up a face to face interview).

The Visconti Palladium nibs are soft and bouncy, and can deliver some line variation.

Now that Visconti has reverted to gold nibs, I wonder if they perform the same?
