Grading exams using my Al-Star black EMR stylus with various Lamy bodies (Charged green, Mate black Joy). Usually, I would be using 20+ fountain pens, but Covid and virtual teaching forced me to go digital, using a Remarkable 2 tablet so my eyes are safe.

Today I'm using my Lamy Studio Imperial, a 1.1 nib with Montblanc Royal Blue ink on Rhodia Ivory pages. Makes me think of blueberries and cream!

YStudio Brassing, medium Schmidt nib and Sailor Shikiori Rikyu Cha...I really like this combination.

Nothing exotic; Parker Vacumatic Junior, (1945), Parker 51 Custom (c1957), Kaweco Dia 2, Pelikan M400. All medium nibs, Diamine Jet Black and Sapphire Blue inks.

Today brought a recently purchased Parker 75 fine inked with Waterman Inspired Blue to work. (This was one of my favorite inks, but recently the Sailor Souboku might dethrone it...) I prepared teaching notes on office printing paper and jotted down to-do, to-buy lists in my Midori planner and Leuchtturm notebook 😁 Enjoying the little bit of line variation I'm getting out of this nib.

Aurora 888P (F) - Aurora Black

I am testing, but I think this nib is just a touch smoother with the Black, compared to Aurora Blue.

I had been down to my backup desk-pen (a Pelikan Level 5, which has been inked up since I got it years ago). Now that I finally had some time today, I finally got around to cleaning out a large bunch of pens and inking up some new ones.

I'm now using:

Lamy 2000 (B) with Diamine Grey

Pelikan 205 (yellow, BB) with Online Orange

Pelikan 205 (green, BB) with Robert Oster Verde de Rio

Aurora Optima (dark green, Italic) with CultPens Deep Dark Green

Senator Professional (EF) with KWZI IG Mandarin

Senator (unnamed, very long ink-window, F) with Monteverde Capri Blue

Chatterley Pens Romulus (Stub) with Diamine Oxford Blue

This is what I have inked today -- and likely will for the foreseeable future:

- Casa della Stilografica 75th Anniversary Leonardo Momento Zero in Brooks' Arctic Blast, fine, inked with Sailor Souboku

- Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age, medium Bacas cursive smooth italic, inked with Sailor Jentle Sky High

- Pilot Vanishing Point Galaxy Raden, medium, inked with Pilot Blue-Black

The Leonardo is an absolutely dreamy writer. This fine nib may be my favorite of all time... although I do adore the CSI on the Bronze Age as well. Good thing I can have both, as I don't think I'd be able to choose just one.

I've been on a blue/blue black kick recently, but I think Souboku usurps my love for Pilot Blue-Black. Once I finish this cart, I think I'll ink the VP with Sailor Oku-Yama or Pilot Bishamon-ten.

Also thinking about bringing my Nakaya Decapod back into the fold, but I have yet to find an ink that really goes with the bright midori stripes, so we'll see.

Monday, I used my 140 w/ MV Sapphire to fill out all the pink slip and DMV forms when I bought a used car. :)

Nice having wheels again.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

For the last day of 2020 I'm using my Platinum Curidas blue. Prepping my 2021 journal for a fresh start tomorrow!
