Today it was the new purple Pilot Falcon, soft F nib, with Iroshizuku Yama-guri; and the pink TWSBI 580-AL, B nib, with Noodler's Baltimore Canyon Blue.

Gotta learn how to use that Falcon nib to advantage.

So far, today, it's been the Dark Lilac Safari, F nib, finishing the fill of Diamine Pelham Blue Burst (good thing the bottle I ordered from Vanness came on Friday -- although I may swap out for some ink I haven't tried yet, in that or another pen; I might also just refill with distilled water for now); and (to finish up the last of today's morning pages entry) the Purple Cosmos Sailor Pro-Gear Slim, zoom, nib, with diluted Kyo-no-Oto Sakuranezumi (haven't quite finished that fill up).

today was note taking, so I needed something that would be quick at capping uncapping.

I usually choose a Visconti with the magnetic cap when I need that.

I filled up a Visconti Rembrandt that was one of the first pens I bought when I started using FPs regularly again almost 7 years ago.
I had bought it used, for very cheap, then discovered the reason was that the nib had a skipping problem...

I used other pens in the meantime, until sometime after I learned how to fix skipping problems!

In the case of this Visconti M steel nib, the issue was a very mild baby bottom, and a few attempts on fine micromesh easily fixed it.

Now it's a very smooth nib, which has a generous flow, but a rather fine line, so it's rather nice.

A matte black Cross ATX with a slightly scratchy and mis-aligned F nib. Its another one of those pens in my set that I have come to accept as a challenge.

It is not a brilliant pen (I also have one in a shiny dark blue finish), but it is compact, has a nice clean design, is comfortable and robust enough for EDC, and I like the smooth chrome section. Maybe my ATX experience is also why I am attracted to Lamy Studios. The ATX is not unlike the Lamy Stuidio, though a bit thinner.

Divers also swam in under water from the harbor, dragging by a cord in skins

poppyseed mixed with honey, and bruised linseed; these at first escaped notice,

but afterwards a lookout was kept for them. In short, both sides tried every possible

contrivance, the one to throw in provisions, and the other to prevent their introduction.
