I just exhausted the Diamine Chocolate Brown that I had in a 2012 Parker Urban ‘M’.

I have a 2015 Luxor Parker Frontier ‘F’ loaded with R&K Scabiosa.

I am about to try out my first cartridge of Parker Quink Blue/Black, in a 1994 Parker Vector ‘M’.

So far today, it's been the Silver Pearl Parker Vacumatic, F nib, with vintage Quink Microfilm Black.

Today is am using a 1950 Sheaffer Sentinel Touchdown Tuckaway with an extra fine nib. The XF nib is probably the smoothest narrow nib I have ever used. These pens are really on the small side but become comfortable for long writing sessions when posted.

For the past week or so I’ve been addicted to my 1952 model Montblanc 149. Last night I refilled it with Lamy Crystal Azurite ink. I’m not likely to put it down soon.

One of the pens I have used today looks just like the Shaeffer in your photograph but is a vac filler. I believe the nib is extra fine, and I agree that it is very smooth, although not as smooth as the nib on my Waterman Man 100 Opera extra fine, at which I always marvel. I have very small hands and use the Tuckaway unposted.

The other pens I have used today have been a Sailor 1911S medium, a Peyton Street Pen Works prototype with a cursive italic nib, and a Pilot desk pen with an extra-fine nib.

A new to me vintage Eversharp Skyline which, after checking the ink window, appeared to still have ink loaded. Quick dunk in water, yep! But blue black naturally. Well, it has the honor of making the first BB entry in my ink notebook, marked as "unknown." Sac needs replacing I think, the lever barely moves, so use ink to depletion and tackle later.

Excellent choices, Jens. My semiflex 1060 is getting a workout today together with an eighties EF Pilot, just for a change.

Today I used my copper Kaweco Liliput . It is not my favorite pen to use, mostly due to the time and skill required to screw on the cap to post it. Posting is essentially necessary with this pen. Though it is not a favorite, it is the most absolutely dependable pen I own. It can sit unused for months and begin writing immediately when next used. It was given to me as a gift, so it also carries a fond memory with it. I use Graf von Faber-Castell Carbon Black ink cartridge in it because I am a stickler for some water-fastness. So I have a dependable, writer that puts down a reliable line. In its odd, Lilliputian way, it is fabulous pen!
