Today was spend writing with a Lotus Shikhar with Jowo M steel, inked with Birmingham Pen Co.'s Duquesne Incline Station Red.

On the Traveller's today...

...Centropen 10016. Awesome chatoyancy. The steel Centropen Iridium 42 nib, looks like it should be a flexy, having those slits...but it isn't. Inked with Noodlers Kung Te-Cheng, it writes with a very nice amount of feedback, though.

A pilot metro in fine, Asa-gao ink.

“Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a boy who will learn your favorite flower, your favorite song, your favorite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won't matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart."

all right then...it's been a while since the last rotation! i don't write as much as most of you. some of you guys ink up 4,5 pens and then introduce a few more a couple of days later. damn, i'd have hand cramps writing that much, lol.

i brought out 2 omas' this time. a black arte italiana "new" paragon with high tech trim & 18k fine nib. this pen is the only one i own with a metal section which i hate and keeps me from using an otherwise lovely pen. the other is the omas bronze arco milord, also with high tech trim and 18k fine nib. both these pens are fantastic writers but the arco gets more use. i favor silver colored trim on my pens and usually ordered a pen with it. most of my collection is that way but there are exceptions of course.

Today's pen is an English Parker 51, no date Mk I.

I have it inked with Blackstone Black Stump which was last year's go to. This fill, finishes it off. It's April, and I haven't figured out, what this year's go to is!

TWSBI 580-ALR, 1.1 mm nib -- R&K Salix.

Parker 75, B(?) nib -- J Herbin Eclat de Saphir.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

A Lamy 2000 with F nib that I normally don't use at home – it's part of my grab-to-go kit – and is usually charged with R&K Salix. Today I filled it with R&K Alt Gold-Grün and have been enjoying the change.

A PenBBS 355 with an Amber Is A Cat F nib inked with PenBBS No.283 Petra.

Lined paper makes a prison of the page.

Today, a Parker 51 Mk I, with rolled silver cap. Inked with Diamine Eau de Nil.

Up to this "lockdown", I was doing fine. I usually had three, maybe four pens inked, with one of them being the pen of the week, and I would rotate those till dry. Now I have 19 pens inked!

But it's ok.

I have much more available time to spend with my pens, and I'm seeing this as an opportunity not to be wasted. I'm inking whatever I fancy, and using that as the pen of the day. The remainder are being used around that, and they're all getting plenty of paper time.

It is truly amazing how many pens look great with that Traveler's Notebook (Pelikan M800) :)

Right now the pen is inked with Iroshizuku Tsukushi.

I am also messing around a bit today with:

1.5mm Pilot Parallel, inked in Pilot Black

2.4mm Pilot Parallel, inked with Pilot Red

2mm Sheaffer Calligraphy Pen, inked with 4001 Königsblau
