Today I am using my new Lamy 2000 with extra fine nib, inked with Sailor Blue Black. It is a nice wet writer, which I like, but the feel and width of the nib I do not like. I am writing with it more extensively today to see if I'd really like to send it off to a nibmeister to have it ground to something more reasonably identifiable as "extra fine"...

So far today it's been the blue Cross Solo, B nib, with Akkerman Dutch Masters Stormachig Blauw, and a Cobalt Noodler's FPC, flex nib, with Noodler's Heart of Darkness.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

For me today, it was an Edison Herald in Copper Flake, inked in Fritz Schimpf Sundowner, and one of my oldest companions, a classic (but not quite vintage) Pelikan M600 in black with green stripes, inked with Edelstein Tanzanite.

The Santini Italia Libra mostly, along with a few of my Pelikans.

Mmmmm, a Toledo...

A Wing Sung 3008 with a LAMY M nib - took a little squeezing with my trusted Gerber to make the nib sit tight (don't try this at home...).

oh, I do need to try this at home!, I have this same set up but the Lamy nib keeps slipping off...

advice?

(I fixed the rusting screw issue but this one is still bugging me...)

I have a tendency to use multiple pens each day.

Today, I actually inked up both of my Pilot Vanishing Points - my fine nib with Aakerman Dutch Masters Israel Sea Blue, and the other is a stub nib with Sailor Manyo Akebi . Both are very nice pens and the inks seem to work well in them.

I have also been using my Waterman Carene with DeAtramentis 225 Years of the US Constitution, as well as my Leonardo Momento Zero Red Marbled with a fine point with J. Herbin Rouge Bourgoyne.

All wonderful pens with equally enjoyable inks.

Today, for once, I only have one pen inked.

That pen is a Pelikan M805 with a bi-coloured ‘F’ nib, and it is loaded with Pelikan Edelstein Olivine.
(A sensible precaution, in case I feel a sudden, pressing need to pen an angry Jeremiad to a newspaper editor or to my MP :D )
