These with these inks!

The two I am waiting on are a custom Edison Extended Mina (soon to hopefully house my first ever shimmer ink as an eye dropper) and a Pilot Fermo (also house my first ever permanent ink so I can use it to sign documents).

Sheen junkie, flex nib enthusiast, and all-around lover of fountain pens...

i've got on the desk 2. the pelikan 805 running waterman black and the second, a montblanc burgundy 144 classique. that has montblanc british racing green at the moment.

i like pens with stories and sentiment. the 144 has both. a good friend, who was also my attorney, was surprised when he found out i liked and used fountain pens. one day he wandered over to my house and put 3 fountain pens on my desk. "here, clients gave me these, i have no use for them." one was the burgundy 144 seen here. oddly, he took them out of the boxes and put the pens in the back of a drawer in his desk to be forgotten. he threw away the boxes and ephemera that came with them. my friend bill has since passed away. i appreciate the pen every time i use it.

Today it's been the Pilot Decimo, F, nib, with Birmingham Smithfield Street Bridge Truss Blue (I just love the way "Smithfield Street Bridge Truss Blue" rolls off my tongue, even when it's a PITA to type....

Yesterday it was the Pelikan M600 Violet and White, EF nib, with Edelstein Topaz.

For the past coupla days, it's been Pilot 823 (PO) with Noodler's Black and Pilot 912 (PO) with Akkerman Blue-Black (probably IG). (I put the 912 nib back into the 912, from the Moonman C2, which now sports the fpnibs #6 steel Jowo PO/F. The Moonman feed with the Pilot nib didn't work the best together. Nice enough, but on the dry side.)

I haven't de-inked Komori Falcon (Pilot SEF) (KWZ Zielonozłoty galusowy), but I'm thisclose.

But I'm also thisclose to inking up the unpolished shu Nakaya Piccolo Cigar (Platinum 3776 steel EF nib). These past two months is the longest that pen has been uninked since I bought it around ten years ago.

Also inked up are a Carolina Pen Co Georgetown, and a Pelikan M205 Olivine.
