it seems actually Caliarts had this sometime early to mid Dec , but I just happen to get the notice today , anyway the old vintage 90's nib; they are said to be softer, and some slight flex and line variation, that I do agree, but the down side of that is that most of them ( especially the mentioned batch on this pen ) are known for pretty sloppy manufacturing tolerance resulting in asymmetrical tipping, metal rolling, slit that are not properly done, and all sort of general QC issue and top that with a grade of steel that do not take working well and can easily sprung ( somewhat brittle ). Now not all the vintage 90's nib are like that, most are in the OK category and some are even good; but the offered ones by Caliarts had been known to be so.

Take that into consideration when and if buying ; the note on them is first batch of the first 300 will use the vintage nibs, no news on what's after that first 300 though .. and since Caliarts rely on others to supply them with nibs it might be interesting to see what they would have ; already customer review had been up in the home countries and the response is so far favorable as fa as the pen itself goes.

It uses a screw in nib unit AFAIK no info on spec but its straight no.6 so in the end worst cone to worst one can just pull the nib and swap in whatever

around the same price as the PenBBS 308, the more common one, not those exotic colours , just sort of 100RMB in their home market ( roughly 14.50 USD )
