I put it in my pilot 823 medium nib and it's a bit dry. It does look nice

You know what is amazing? I placed this Montblanc James Purdey & Son's single malt in my Pilot Custom 823 and I noticed that the down stroke was sometimes skipping and the link laydown was shallow in some parts and wetter in others. I rembered my 823 being perfectly smooth and now it was a bit scratchy. I thought it was the Nib. I decided to replace the ink with Pilot Blue and the silky smooth operation returned and no more skipping or problems with my down stroke. I am new to this hobby but I learned a valuable lesson the ink and the paper really does make a difference in how a pen performs. I was amazed by the difference.
