I have a Shaeffer Imperial AS9G whose gold cap is extensively cracked. Does anyone have an idea about what could I do to either fix it (it does not seem possible to me, but who knows…?) or to get a replacement?

I guess that repair will be difficult indeed and finding a replacement cap for this uncommon pen will not be easy either.

 

It is a push-on (not screw-on) cap, is that correct? Possibly, the cap of a Sheaffer Skripsert Deluxe will also fit but I think that these caps came only in chrome, not gold filled.

 

Do you have pictures of the cracked cap?
