Cool Logo But What Is It?

Hi, Anyone recognize this nice logo. Looks like a jet crossing a V. Maybe an aerospace company but I cannot find it. Let me know if you know. thanks, BOB

Most, if not all, of the Virgin properties have a more script "V" (almost a sloppy square-root symbol).

It may be Vought, an American Aerospace manufacturer. Given that many Cross pens with corporate symbols may be a few decades old it is quite common to come across them with defunct or old company symbols.
