Today Pelikan announced the long awaited addition of the Stresemann

design to its Souverän 600 line.

Starting by mid November the M605 Stresemann fountain pen and the

K605 Stresemann ballpoint pen will be available in the standard range.

This only leaves the Souverän 1000 as well as the Souverän 300 series

without the Stresemann design.

One Stresemann (M405) is good enough for me.

 

Gray is really a very fashionable "color" these days...

Is the US price exclusive of EU vat?

 

 

Yes, the prices quoted above do not include the German VAT.

Handsome fella, but I do not understand why pelikan is the only brand to charge us an "EF" tax.

 

Platinum doesn't charge extra for an UEF, which is a nightmare to grind.

I will write to Gunther Wagner to find out if he will waive the EF nib charge. This way I don't suffer with the f-nib syndrome. I do not understand this tax on ef nibs. Do they charge in Germany extra tax for ef nibs?
