Reduce Inkflow In Mitsubishi Ub157

Sometimes I have to use a non-fountain pen so I have a Mitsubishi UB157 rollerball and a Pilot G2. While the ink is great, the point is not exactly small so I have to write very fast to avoid that my letters get tangles together. Is there a way to reduce inkflow on these rollerballs so I can write a bit smaller?

You can try using a smaller point version like the UB150 or the UB 185S
