New Pilot Ringtop?

Another member on another forum mentioned that Pilot (or was it Sailor?) had come out with a new ringtop pen, the cost of which was somewhere around the cost of a starter Mercedes.

 

Has anyone seen one?

I haven't seen anything on the Pilot Japan web site about it:

However, I did find out that they've added an italic "calligraphy" nib to the clear Preras:

I wish the italic came on the opaque Prera.

 

A modern ringtop would appeal too.

I heard about the special edition pens from one of the episodes of "the nib section" podcast. Don't know which episode but probably a fairly recent one.
