Bohler Ex-Glorex

Hi Folks,

 

Recently I acquired a Bohler Glorex c. 1930. Long story short- the piston mechanism was shot. I was able to disassemble the pen, successful only that the EXCELLENT Degussa nib/feed section is intact.

The only other pen on hand is a Koh-i-noor Acetograph and seems the section (threaded) might accommodate the Degussa nib/feed. Though I don't know enough to proceed and must prevent further damage. Inside the section is caked with ink- though i was able to write-as it was (like an extended dip pen) before my problem solving began.

 

Are the nib and feed removable?

 

Do i transplant the section as-is to another pen, if so, what kind?

 

Any direction/suggestion are much appreciated!

Thanks! An excellent nib, first vintage steel i've had... sure seems 14c and steel are equal in my book.
