Thanks for the review. Great color and well-behaved, the only brown I use nowadays It and Take-sumi, are the only Iro I use regularly. I'm also using it in a Sheaffer, a Cadet Touchdown with F nib that writes more like an EF.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I bought a bottle of this so that I could try this brand. I found it very well behaved, flows nicely. But, to my taste, it’s a rather cold color.

Matter of taste but it is trouble free and doesn't clog pens unlike Waterman Havan Brown

I absolutely LOVE this ink, I think it was my second purchase after Yama Budo. Thank you for your review, now I must dash and ink up!!

This is one of my favorite browns. I had tried a sample of Iroshizuku Tsukushi, but prefer the color of Yama-guri (I really like sepia-toned browns, apparently, because I also have a couple of bottles of Edelstein Smoky Quartz....)

Thanks for the review (and the reminder that I have it -- I haven't used Yama-guri for a while...).

Thanks very much for sharing! A great review of a great ink. In real life, the color is warmer than it appears on your screenshots, at least to my eye.

It is a perfect complement to my amber Pilot Custom 823.
