The store is called "La Cartoleria Srl." Their web site is in Italian only. My sense is that it hasn't had the history of online sales and tourist business that the shops in Rome, Florence, or Milan have. But the owner, Amedeo Li Bovi, seems interested in growing his business.

Thank you very much for the information!

Nice photo and beautiful pen.  I love the prugna resin.  I wish they made more models (Magico) in this color.

Thanks. I have always liked this colour and it didn't disappoint.

I picked this Momento Magico prototype up at the San Francisco International Pen Show this morning.  The piston knob, section and cap are all blue-green spaghetti resin (Sorrento? Blue Hawaii?) and the body is frosted blue with a single, gloss blue stripe (to provide a clearer ink window).  Any ink suggestions?  Water-resistant would be a bonus.

Salvatore, tuning the above nib. If I understood what we told me, this pen will be "announced" this Fall.

For me, with a fondness for facetted pens and for guilloché pens, this pen was irresistible.

Noodler’s Baltimore Canyon blue, medium blue and rather water resistant.

That looks like it may tick all the boxes for me.  I like that it leans toward the green without looking teal.  Thank you!

Very nice pen!

What about Leonardo's Blue ink? Think it would go well with the color of this pen.

Thanks, Mark!

Friday morning, when I was in the show, it was mobbed. I ran through my "to do list" and did almost no browsing. I did have an unexpectedly fruitful chat with Shawn Newton about adapting a couple of Oldwin pens to take other nibs. I really don't like the stock nibs that M. Mora used.

As you have probably gathered, I am a major Leonardo Pen fan boy. It was a real treat finally meeting Salvatore face to face.

I got to the Leonardo table early. Salvatore was not quite set up to tune nibs. He was fumbling around trying to find his loup, so I lent him mine. When we met, what he wanted to talk about was not pens but the Italian dishes I cooked and had posted on social media.  Turns out, I cook a lot of dishes with which he is not familiar. They are from Tuscany or the Veneto, and he only knows Southern Italian food. We forget how very "regional" Italy is.

And, by the way, the pen is really a great writer.

Nice collection.  What do you think of Stilograph Corsani’s Le Grande Ibrida Matte?  I really like the contrast between the PM resin and matte black.  I am tempted to get one but I’m not interested in the titanium nib.

Thanks!

I do not like the contrast, but, if you do, that's fine. It's a free country, at least for a few more weeks. I have just one titanium nib. I got it with a Conid Bulkfiller. It is soft but not springy. I don't like it at all.

If the titanium nib is on a screw-in housing, and you really like the pen otherwise, you could easily swap in a nib you like better. If it is friction fit and glued in, it's more challenging. FWIW, Leonardo's friction fit gold nibs are easy to pull out and push back in.

Happy writing!

Pen Boutique recently offered a limited edition of 70 Leonardo Pens in a lovely brown, translucent celluloid. The pens were offered with steel nibs and no stubs. I couldn't resist buying this special pen, but I changed the steel Fine Flex nib it came with for a gold Leonardo 1.1mm stub.
