Pretty material! Too bad about the nib. What width is it?

Fortunately, the steel nibs in Momento Magico pens are screw in JoWo's, so easily swapped, if you can't fix it.

David

I forgot about that part, TWSBI uses Jowo as well.  I wonder...

I took a photo of my currently inked Leonardo pens for another purpose, but thought I would also share it here. <Drool warning!>

Horrible Horrible pens. The Horriblist of them is that second from the right. Send it it to me so you no longer have to endure that Horriblism.    Wait....send them all. I'm in a benevolent mood..

In all seriousness, your photos have enticed me to purchase five Leonardos in the last year (when I told myself no more pens..)

Thanks, Doug! Your recent purchases have earned me an oak leaf cluster for my bronze enabler medal!

Happy writing!

Initially I thought they were just Delta rehashes but I was so wrong (not that i have anything against Delta pens).

Every pen I've bought is unmatched In terms of build quality, writing quality and there are unique design aspects that are not immediately obvious, especially in the Special Collection group.

The two special pages are dangerous to the bank account.  🤣

This arrived yesterday. I do like the MZG 2.0 model.  I like really functional ink windows. This pen is indeed very brown. Leonardo's 14 Kt and steel JoWo stub nibs have been consistently good writers for me - both smooth and crisp.

That looks really really nice.  I used to regularly watch his channel, and my first Leonardo was bought right after he released his glowing review of the first Momento Zero (back when they had the Bock nibs, captive converter...).  I have the sbrebrown ink, which I very much like.

I haven't watched him in a long time, though.  I just pulled up the video list on his channel and I don't see this (at least not from examining the titles).  Where's is it from?

It is exclusively from appelboom pens. And it comes in a Momento Zero model as well, with a steel nib. I believe the MZG 2.0 model sold out very quickly.

Some beautiful shading going on with that SBREbrown ink and that stub too...I've been looking for a new brown ink, using MB Toffee Brown which is great and really well behaved but was looking for something a little lighter and that could fit the bill, but appears it's out of stock 🙁

An impulsive purchase, but in no way regretted!

Leonardo 2023 Dutch Pen Show LE. Received yesterday. Not yet inked. I wonder if drooling on this stub nib is as effective as flushing it with water.

Jonathon Brooks calls that resin "Golden Rule" I think I have 4 pens from 3 different makers in it. Did I tell you I like it too?

I have been lured toward Leonardo's pens several of times, including for this thread, but for some reason not made the final leap of faith.  Tough decisions here!

I only currently own one, a Momento Zero in Alga green with a fine steel nib.  As is often the case, the resin is even more striking in person than in photos, I do have to say that mine came with a nib where the tips of the tines were pinched just a tiny bit, I was able to correct myself with a few passes of brass sheet through the tines and it writes beautifully now.
