Standard and Grande are the two sizes. Speranza's are the same size as the Grande's, and the Tredici is between the regular and Grande.

Thanks very much. I think it'll have to be a Grande then.... I prefer the shape of the Furore.....

A Blue Positano Furore Grande is in my future too.

I love Leonardo steel stubs right out of the box. I am less fond of their gold stubs. They are less crisp than I prefer for Italic handwriting and a bit broad for everyday use.

I sent three Leonardo pens with gold stubs off to Michael Masuyama and got them back yesterday. The red Art Deco (Guilloche ebonite) was left at 1.3mm and just made crisper. The other two pens I had ground to write a 0.75mm line.

Beautiful pens, everyone!

I have three of the Momento Zeroes, Finally saw a Grande in person yesterday, so feel like there is one with e #8 in my near term future!

same thought... :)

Great minds, eh?

I ordered one last week. With a steel stub, of course.

I love my MZ Grande Art Deco, but the stub is a bit of a let down. Unfortunately the Columbus pen show is canceled so i'll have to see about shipping it out for work. Adjusting a stub is a bit outside of my meager skillset right now.

I need to pull my camera out on the next sunny day and go outside with my Leonardo's.

My Furore Grande in Positano arrived a couple days ago. It has a steel stub Bock nib. Reading between the lines of Salvatore's response to my query, it is undecided whether Leonardo will be switching to JoWo nibs on all models. Maybe just the standard issue MZ and Furore. This is an inference and shouldn't be taken as established fact.

The Furore Grande is beautiful to my eyes, and, while too big to carry in a shirt pocket, is a delight to write with. Comfortable in the hand, and the nib has a perfect amount of feedback for me.

Here are some photos:

Enjoy!

Lovely pictures David - I'm trying to decide between Hawaii and Positano, both are great materials but I think Positano is edging it... Enjoy yours!

I have both, and they are both very handsome materials. I personally prefer the positano, but I think you would be happy with either ... or both.

I think I'm edging to Positano - I have a MZ Grande in sand and I struggle slightly with the 'stripes' not aligning so I reckon I'd have the same issue with Hawaii

Well my Cuspide collection received a new member today! The Bespoke Cuspide Arco arrived from Novelli in Rome. Stunning pen, features the newer fully integrated piston filler and a new 14k #8 nib. Just beautiful. Haven't tried the nib out yet, though...

best,

Doug

They do look nice, and at last a true to life picture of the colours! Can you list the colours? I've still not quite understood which is which...

The replacement stub nib for my Momento Zero Grande in Sand arrived last week! It did have some problems with slow starts after a pause in writing, but flossing the nib seems to have cured it or at least improved it substantially. Like all my Leonardo steel stubs, it is a sweet writer.

Hello, what size stub are you using in your photo, a 1.5mm? Thanks.

In the close up nib pic, it appears that it is a 1.1mm stub.
