No. Stunned. Thank you for thoughtfully delivering this difficult news Linda.

First thought, how Anthony often included tender comments honoring his beloved family, focused great compassion toward others, balanced good humor where appropriate, along with work ethics suggesting heavy responsibilities. Endeavored always to be peaceable.

H.T.S.Y.I.P. Anthony...

Please do share our condolences.

I can hardly believe this news, it's a shock. I did not know Anthony beyond this forum, but I have always enjoyed seeing his uplifting posts and his sense of humor. He brought a lot of personality and life to the forum, and though he is no longer with us, his legacy here will live on. He was among the members who made this place less of a random collection of pen and ink chat and more of a community.

Sincere condolences to Anthony's family and friends.

As an avid lurker, but infrequent poster, I will defer to Intensity who said said it better than I would have. Thank you Linda, and (as has been previously requested) please let his family know of the impact his courtesy and thoughtfulness have had.

Linda, Please accept my sincere condolences for you and for Anthony's family. I don't post much these days, but I often lurk, and Anthony's kind and humorous posts always stood out to me. I always thought he must be a lovely person in the real world,

So sad and quite a shock! Anthony is the second Pen Friend that I know that has passed this week. Praying for comfort for his family and co-workers in this time of grief!

So sorry for your loss.

Parker Duofold (seems more appropriate here) added to my enjoyment of this forum.

He made a valuable contribution to our community. His responses were gentle, helpful and full of good cheer.

I will miss his presence here.

Damn, that sucks. I was just thinking the other day that I hadn't seen PD around the forums lately, but I wasn't expecting this.

I enjoyed my brief interactions with him and always found his posts to be friendly and intelligent. My condolences to his friends and family. And thank you Linda for informing us of his passing.

RIP Anthony. May you find your eternal warm, glowing hearth with like-minded souls.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Dear Anthony,

So unexpected.

Your kindness, humour, honesty, sincerity, light-heartedness, and "be well" wishes will be sorely missed. It's people like you that make FPN online community a fun, warm and meaningful place. I know behind the "ParkerDuofold" there was a genuine soul.

Thank you, Anthony! Rest in peace.

Your online pen friend whom you never met,

This weekend I purchased the most beautiful Hard Rubber, Parker Duofold Big red fountain pen in pristine condition. I got it restored and today I am inking it up with Parker Quink Blue Black ink and enjoying in in rememberance of Anthony (ParkerDuofold)!

Condolences to his family. His posts and conversations had convinced me to get a contemporary 'big red' duofold. His contributions will be missed.

Perry that is a great idea! There are so many amazing expressions of love and appreciation on this thread. Here's my version, using pen and ink I've had for quite some time. The ink is so old it has lost its original color, which sort of adds to my feelings at the moment.

Even if I'm relatively new here, I gasped when I read of Anthony's passing. His posts were like anchors in threads full of information.

Merry meet and merry part and merry meet again. Blessed be, Anthony.
