He was always pleasant and helpful in his responses to other FPN users. One of the people who gave this corner of the Internet its "character". He will be missed.

"So convenient a thing it is to be a reasonable creature, since it enables one to find or make a reason for everything one has a mind to do."

- Benjamin Franklin

I was wondering if Anthony'd stepped away from FPN for a breather. Joining the rest in sadness. Anthony had kindv a large personality on this board, and I looked forward to reading his posts.

Man. This sucks.

Thank you, Linda, for letting us know. My condolences to you and Anthony's family and friends and everyone here who will miss his unfailing encouragement to take care and enjoy life.

Thank you Linda for letting us know, and sincere condolences to you, Anthony ‘s family, friends...

It is sad.

Cars, music, Lamy 2000, cannoli - there will be happy reminders on his large personality.

Really horrible and sad news.

Thank you Linda for letting everyone know.

How is his mother? She had some health troubles and like anyone likely never expected her son would go before her.

My condolences to anyone affected.

Anthony was always worth reading. He struck me as a kind and gentle man.

There is always too little one can say, and often that ends up sounding trite.

Anthony was a man whose advice was good.

The couple of times we did back channel, was just pens to 95%. Sadly, now that I think of it.

Did not he say she had died recently, which was why he had quite a gap in his presence here a little earlier this year?

Linda, thank you for your thoughtfulness in alerting us to Anthony's passing. As you can see he was an integral part of our community and held in high and affectionate regard. Please do suggest which charity we can make donations to.

Thank you Linda for letting us know. He will be sorely missed.

Condolences to you, his family and all of those who knew him.

I think this quote from his FPN signature says it all:

"Grab life with both arms and give it a bear hug every day!"

May he rest in peace.

Ive recently started browsing these forums, and enjoyed coming across his posts. He had a good sense of humour. Gentle, not sarcastic or sardonic. This news saddens me. Rest in peace, my friend.

Good wishes for him wherever he is now, and his family.

I had the chance to talk a little with him, very good person.

Linda, if you have a chance to come back and see all these posts, please, let his family know he was sorely missed by a large community worldwide he had befriended and who had learnt to admire him.

We will all miss him.

Time to search for cannoli and sambucca for a last toast.

Oh, that's very sad. He was a warm presence on here.

RIP Anthony. Be well with God and your family.

I didn't know Anthony directly, only indirectly through his posts here. He had exquisite taste in vintage automobiles and a lovely wish for all upon their acquisition of a new fountain pen: "Enjoy in good health".

Sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear this. I enjoyed his posts, especially "what are you listening to now" Fifty is too short a life, but it sounds like he lived those years well. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed.

This is such sad and terrible news. Like most people here, I only knew Anthony by his posts, but he infused them with such character and personality that it was hard not to feel as though you were getting to know him. He seemed like a great guy: his posts reflected a creative, funny, thoughtful, kind, concerned, open, and considerate man.

Thank you for letting us know about this Linda. Given his impact here on FPN, I can only imagine how large his impact must have been on the people in his life, and the gap that he leaves behind. Condolences to you, to his friends, and his family.

Dennis.

I didn't even know the man, and I'm just staring at my screen in disbelief. What a loss.
