The original 600's with the gold nib are nice. May try to pick one of those up myself.

It's very hard to found the Black Rotring 600 on stores, and i found one, tomorry i will get one, for 70€, with F nib.

 

The Lava Rotring 600, if more easy to found for 55€, but it's not so beautifull like the Black serie.

The 600 is a dangerous weapon that should only be in the hands of experts and never be given to a child, lest they hurt themselves.

I was once stopped by security, who detected my 600 in my pocket with their metal detector. The guards were ignorant plebs who did not know what a fountain pen was.

They made me take it apart to show them. I used the wrong words to describe it. I said "barrel" and "cartridge". The supervisor came in to the interrogation room and demanded I show him how the gun was put together for firing. I had to show them on the internet that it was a bone fide writing instrument and not a disguised assassin's tool. :bonk:

And the horrible thing is that I immediately believe that that story is true ... what a world.

 

I too own a black 600, and that really is the only pen can I take wherever I go. Only risk is loosing it, other than that, extremely solid.

The successor, the Newton, is much less robust (though still head and shoulders above all more distinguished pens).

The salesman I talked on the phone, got it wrong, it was the black Rotring 600.

 

So, I just bought the model Rotring 600 LAVA, nib M, for 50 €, after all is a very beautiful pen, and I'm not sorry for that.

 

Once i have time, I put here the photos of my pens, four Rotrings (three i dont know the models), a black Lamy studio, and two Waterman, one Harly Davison blue, (who i dont know where is it), the other i dont konw the model.

 

I hope after that, someone can help me, to know, the name of the models

you should have said " here let me show you " and pointed it at his face... where can i get a rotring 600 fountain pen for 100 dolla
