Does this pen use an insert system where you draw out the nib/barrel unit and put it back in nib out?

 

I saw that recently in a new Chinese pen and thought it novel. This pen looks like it could be an antecedent.

I have a blue one, but it’s darker than the one in the NBC peacock. Mabie Todds are some of the nicest writers out there.

Ive got a quite nice Kaweco liliput, though dont have a picture...

 

And a tiny vintage Carter fountain pen, semi flex nib thats more flexible then most other nibs Ive tried!
