How many turns does it normally takes to open up a moors non-leakable fountain pen ? This pen has the imprint as follows

To open the nib it takes me around 20 half turns. It doesn't feel normal compared to my waterman 42 1/2 v :(. once fully extended its about the same size as a small moore's leaver filler.

I am wondering if something is messed up inside the pen. Any info is greatly appreciated

You don't twist this one - just push the outer collar forward and the nib slides out!

Here is great information including a cutaway and a disassembled pen.

Thank you for the info :). I have been trying to use it the wrong way this entire time. I simply assumed that i need to rotate it based on how my waterman worked. I should have done some reading before trying to use it.

Thanks again.
