If you're alluding to what I think it is, I only just managed to get my partial order fulfilment dispatched today, after continually badgering them over yet another nine or ten days. The list I gave them of what should be shipped was not strictly adhered to, and the revised list they sent me in return has several errors; it doesn't match what's inside the package, even now that it's been picked up by DHL.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Yep. Same hymn sheet here. I've now cancelled almost everything, but I'm holding out on the few remaining items partly because I can't get them elsewhere, and partly out of sheer cussedness.

Well, the new nib came today...it has a damaged feed.

 

Yup. Worst pen buying experience I've had to date. And really incredible lack of attention to detail on the seller's part. I don't even have the energy to tell the story. Maybe later.

Simple answer
Lawyers.
The weak always get someone else to fight their battles instead of manning up and owning it themselves.

Thankfully, I have not had any fountain pen purchases that were so horrid that I felt angry over them to the point of doing anything about it.
The one situation that I did get upset about, the fault was my own for being impatient and not understanding that in the time of a pandemic...things take a lot longer.
That was a good learning point...definitely an experience to grow on. :)

Best pen-buying experience though...I own a Penbbs-355 pen formerly owned by the great Jon Szanto!!

I am constantly searching for overlooked pens online. To that end some amazing steals have ended up in my group of pens which I refuse to call a collection.

There was a "steal" I ran across and purchased on e-Bay. I posted the Seller's photos and text for the item Here in this forum (I was happy with the purchase).

The seller kept stalling sending the pen, longer and longer.... Then they eventually ended up cancelling the sale a month later (they never shipped it).

They DID end up posting the same pen back online for sale a couple months later, with the details from my posting HERE, which defined it as a higher value pen.

 

Behavior changed... Now, I do not post anything about my vintage pen purchases, until AFTER they are safely in my hands.

Oh wow...when bragging backfires.

By far the worst FP buying experience are buying Chinese pens off Chinese websites. 
 

Both are bad. Bad luck with Jinhaos, Moonmans, Hero’s etc from Aliexpress and DHgate. 
 

I would never ever buy another Chinese pen again no matter how cheap they are. I’ve purchase about 4 so far and those are the only ones either busted or just thrown in the garbage.

Point Plume in Paris because haughty, unwelcoming and expeditious reception. 

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
