Seeking Help Identifying A Ballpoint Refill Model

I have a nice little ballpoint pen I got as a gift from a relative many years ago, with a twist-to-extend/retract mechanism. The ink cartridge in it has long been finished, and I've been meaning to figure out what to get as a replacement cartridge. Unfortunately there is absolutely no writing anywhere on the pen or the refill. But I do see something that appears to be "C17" embossed at the very top of the black ribbed cap on the refill. In case anyone is familiar with ballpoint--or even better gel--refills that have this size, I would love a pointer! Perhaps I could even twist off that black cap and fit it onto another metal or plastic cartridge to preserve the twist-to-use mechanism.

Excellent, thank you! Do you know if there are gel refills in this size?
