Although they carried over int the earliest 2nd generation Dorics they were soon replaced with the Silver cartouche slider and then in just 2 sizes. Also in the first generation the #9 nibs were made to fit the #7 nib pens. The #9 nibs weeecnecked down to fist #7 sections and feeds. sections and feeds. Of course the first gen oversized Dorics had #10 adjustable nibs.
