Montegrappa Extra Photo Thread

Well the long awaited Montegrappa Extra Otto I purchased some time ago finally arrived

 

A stunning malachite green celluloid that is beyond words in the faceted shape with razor sharp cap band engravings and flat clip. The depth, variation and light catching properties of the material can simply not be captured. A couple of quick shots in the evening until I can properly get acquainted with and photograph the pen but I am one happy Montegrappa fan right now.

Una penna elegantissima! I will say that it is very high in my tastes for Montegrappa celluloid.

 

Well done, CeeElle! It is my understanding that the malachite celluloid is no more available, so that you grabbed it just in time.

I hope you won't consider this spam, but here is another shot of me enjoying a Sunday writing session with the Otto in Lapis Blue. I have it inked with Montblanc BMW Blue and it seems to be a good combination.

Really one of the more elegant pens in the Extra series!! It is simply superb! I like it a lot and seriously thinking about it.
