Namiki Falcon In Black With Rhodium Trim And Extra Fine Nib On Amazon

Pilot Namiki Falcon Collection Fountain Pen Extra Fine Nib Black/Rhodium currently on offer on Amazon.com.au for A$177.16, sold and shipped by Amazon US, so customers with Prime membership get free international shipping to Australia.

I don't think I've seen the EF-nibbed Namiki Falcon at such a low price before. This has hit almost the previous low point for the Fine-nibbed rhodium trim model, and usually the EF-nibbed model is significantly more expensive. I was watching it for the past several months, and it has always been above A$220. I just snagged the last one that was in stock, but you can still order the item now at that price; the item listing states it will be in stock on 24 April 2019.

Don't forget there's also the opportunity to get cashback with some programmes if you click-through to Amazon.com.au from their websites (conditions apply).

There's one currently in stock, when I went to look just now.

Thanks Dill for the alert! Plastic body Red/Rhodium and Black/Gold Falcons are on US Amazon for low $120s right now for SF nibs. Other nibs for different prices, but still low-ish prices. Sold & fulfilled by Amazon.

In case anyone thinks this is a special deal and needs to jump on it - it's always for sale about at this price on amazon and ebay. This is standard JDM price.

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

Not according to camelcamelcamel. In the last three years, this model has only dropped below the current offer on Amazon.com twice (excluding this round) and only very briefly both times. Remember, I'm specifically talking about the RT model fitted with a soft Extra Fine nib.

I didn't think it was a killer deal to jump on, but Amazon normally sells the Plastic/Red/Rhodium for about $153. $123 brings it down to, as you say, standard. It's a good deal for anybody wanting one at Japanese prices but hesitant to pull that trigger.

But it looks like it also occasionally drops down to $100, for those who want a deal and are happy to check often enough to catch it.

I constantly get pangs to buy the falcon and never do - I see it all the time for ~$120 with rhodium trim. 150 is usually the range for the gold trim.

I think at this point people are aware that Falcons can be found on Amazon for prices comparable to Japan imports.

Dill, an even bigger Thank You for getting me to think with camelcamelcamel. I've known about it for ages but it's never really been in my toolchest. Today I actually used it before you posted another link to it. A great tool for trying to decide if a deal on Amazon is really a good deal.
