Moleskine Passion Journal For Fountain Pens

Comparing softcover Moleskine Cahiers (single signature stiched, sold in sets of three as they are so small) to hardbound (multiple signature) journals seems a bit unfair. At least make the comparison with a hardbound Moleskine journal format.

I use the smaller cahier format in my vehicles -- gasoline/service log. Not much space in a motorcycle for anything bigger.

I think you are right, but, dont you think the front covers of the cahiers are of bad quality paper?, they crack easily.

I've bought many no-name notebooks, which performed way better with fountain pens.

Exactly this. Steer clear - there are plenty that are much better.

After nearly 20 years of using them, I've yet to find a journal with the perfect form factor of a Moleskine. With the right ink, it's useable with fountain pens.

The Leuchtturm 1917 are a good fountain pen friendly alternative to Moleskine, but I do find them bulky and heavy compared to the perfect Moleskine.

I would definitely welcome a more fountain pen friendly version from Moleskine, given popularity of fountain pens are increasing.
