I really like the style of the modern duofolds. I have about 40 of them in my personal collection.

here are my modern Duofold pens. Most of them are fountain pens.

I do have all the original boxes (and certificates for the LEs) but for storage, they are in these trays.

Fantastic!

How many years does it take to build such a collection?

Easy - either a short time and a voluminous wallet, or a longer time with more lurking and significantly less money.

The more money, the less waiting. Just.like restoring old motorcycles.

I’m collecting pens for many years now and have a lot of them (also other models and other brands).

I bought my first Duofold in 2001. It was a black limited edition (Parker 75 jaar in Nederland).

I finally bought a Duofold FP - I have quite a few Duofold ball points (marble blue, marble green, black, and my favourite the original lapis lazuli finish).

A very nice and superbly made Centennial Big Red with a fine nib found its way to me via massdrop.

The nib was super smooth and reasonably wet but I just couldn't get used to a fine nib. After thinking about it for a week I've sent it off to parker to swap for a broad nib.

Photos when it's back and I'm desperately hoping I haven't made a mistake.

My meager collection of Centennial sized Duofolds. A new Big Red F nib, a Blue Chevron F nib, and a Greenwich in a M nib. I also recently aquired a Centennial Nib unit with MI nib. It is the older style arrow nib, but it fits all three of these pens, Wrong trim for the Big Red and wrong material for the Blue Chevron. I am looking forward to playing around with the nib whichever pen I use it on.
