In The Pen Case This Month: The Pen For Men Rides Again!

In scanning which pens to fill for the latest round of use, my eyes were drawn to my PFMs...The are the cornerstone of my collection and I have been fortunate to have acquired all colors in all models...These are two of my favorites: The PFM V in burgundy with the gold cap is my favorite combination and the PFM III is the autograph model with the 14K cap band and gold finial...And the nibs are great--a broad on the V for notetaking and a stub/italic on the Autograph III...And the Legacy Sterling ballpoint is there for when fountain pens won't do (as if).

OOOH! Look at those nibs! Especially on the black one....

I suspect a PFM would be a little big for my hand -- but I love my regular Snorkels.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

The nibs are both great writers. The PFM stub nib is really more of an italic. Everyone I have is a smooth writer. Actually the nib on the black autograph has been my avatar since the beginning. And don’t give up on the PFM. It is a broad pen, but very light in the hand.

Excellent pens. thumbup.gif

I enjoy using the Legacy and will probably get it tweaked to a CI/stub. The Valor in blue w/ CT is another smooth writer.

The PFM V is on my shopping list.
