Repairs For Waterman Pen

I'm new to the forum and request some help, please. I have a Waterman Carene pen that leaks ink. I have changed the cartridge and it still leaks. When I contacted Waterman they wanted me to send the pen in to France, an idea that i didn't like. Surely there are reputable pen repair companies here in the U. S.? Does anyone have a recommendation, please? Thanks
