For your penance, do buy three Montblanc FPs, three Aurora FPs and 3 Namiki Limited Edition FP.

That is an interesting punishment :D

It's not a 'Frankenpen'.....it is a bespoke design  :D

NO! We are not ALL a bunch of old men! Banish the thought!!!!

Welcome back!

I don't really have a system for matching pen colors to ink. I focus more on matching pen to ink to paper. While I wish every ink and paper played nice with every pen, that is not always the case. Also, what I intend to use the pen for has a lot to do with the ink and paper choice. The pen/ink combo for journal writing on Tomoe River paper will be different to the 3-4 pens with different colors that I need for diagramming, editing and charting I do for my work, which is on a combination of papers from engineer's grid pads to HP copy paper. Today, for example, I am using my MB 146 with MB Unicef ink for journal writing, and for work, I am using an Italix Captain's Commission with stub nib paired with Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake, Lamy Safari with Calamo Sapphron, and a Duke with fude nib paired with Monteverde Valentine Red (so appropriate for today :D) .
