Out of curiosity, where? Cleo Skribent?

Nope! Although, from my very limited experience, Cleo's nibs are pretty nice.

But, I find myself buying (and lusting after) more Montblancs these days, which offer excellent nibs from EF to OBBB.

My boat is not floated by this one. I don't find it attractive, but the price is crazy.

I like the look of this pen and do enjoy my M101N Red Tortoiseshell, but not at the retail prices in the US. I'll wait until they go on sale. A red M101N Red Tortoise can be had for much less now than originally.

Out of curiosity, where? I like that look, but it was too quirky for me at the time.

I've recently re-inked my very first modem Pelikan, an M100, bought ca. 1989, which has also made me question my collection. All of the later ones just seem replicas of that first Pelikan.

I really like it and can't wait to add it! I like that this gets closer to the vintage / original colorways

I have the earlier 101Ns (except the lizard) and like them very much. They write extremely well for me — with the nibs modified to stubs by CFP.

And I’ve already ordered the grey-blue.

I don't have the Lizard because I hate this colour, but have the other three. And I will get this one for sure, although it seems a bit sad (the mix of grey and blue colour).

But I will get it, of course. It's been a long time since Pelikan made the last 400/101 size.

I love the Lizard the most... maybe it's because I didn't expect it to look like the vintage lizard.

+1

It is my favorite of the line so far. Despite the official name, I think of it as the M101N Mosaic. ;)

Of all the M101N's, the lizard is the only one that really appeals to me. The latest one, not at all. And the price is well out of my range.

It's a decent-looking pen and I'm sure the price will come down. But I already have the brown tortoise M101N (which I love) and rarely am interested in owning more than one of a given pen model, except possibly a couple with different points. Definitely not buying them all so I can line up all the colors in a row.

Undewhelmed. I really like this line, and I have liked most of the pens in the line. I've been expecting a new addition but blue grey? really? I mean if you already have a blue marble 205, who needs an expensive replica of a 205? I was hoping for (and half expected it would actually be) a gray binde. And not just a grey marbled but one of those light gray models with the black marble mixed in. I'm not describing this very well but I have seen a couple and they are pretty striking, in that subtle Pelikan way. If you have one of these pens I am describing in your collection, could you post a pic here so that people will know what I am talking about?

It's a nice enough pen, but I have other pens to buy before I drop money on this version.

I also expect something more familiar to historic Pelikan 100 N colors like grey or even full black, but if investigate previous reissues in serie M101N, their are all not exact copies of vintage 100/101N.

M101N Tortoiseshell brown have more green vs vintage yellow

M101 N Bright red replica from 100 series coral red.

M101 N Lizzard patern and Red tortoise are closest to predecessors, but still..not exact copies. So the blue grey edition is not surprise for me and even surprise because I have exact predecessor :D

After the tortoise, that Grey in Barutti's pictures is my favorite of the old materials (MOP would be nice too and a close runner-up for me). Would love to see Pelikan do an update in this line of that grey

Lovely pen, Barutti!! Your blue grey is fantastic!

I was expecting a remake of the green barrel, like the most diffused 101N pens, but seeing your blue grey clearly explains why this LE!

I'm not going to miss it.

Hi:

For Sure I am going to buy one M101N Blue Grey for my birthday. I started saving money last week when I was notified for the March release.

I love it.

Even though I have a few other pens on the list before it, I also like this edition of the N101M the most, after the brown tortoiseshell. It is very true to the original, classic Pelikans of the Thirties, and should I buy another modern 101, the Blue-Grey would be!
