Lifetime warranty discontinued?

Has Parker discontinued their lifetime warranty? According to their website, it's now 2 years, with a 2 year extension if one registers with them. Does this apply just to new pens? Will they honor the lifetime warranty on my existing pens?

I had to return my 100 becasue of damage to the barrel from posting the cap, and they honoured the guarantee. Mine was stamped; I assume yours are?

Thanks for the confirmation. Are you referring to the date stamp on the pen? I guess the change to the 2 year warranty started this year?

No, the date stamp I was referring to was on the guarantee leaflet. I think the reduction in warantee is indeed quite a recent thing.

Recently Parker did change warranty. However there are in shops still lot's of pens around that are sold with lifetime warranty. If there is (still) lifetime warranty on a pen, is printed on the packaging.
