Most FPN Members would know my dogged pursuit of the most memorable FP experiences. I started in Feb this year and have been pursuing the best possible experiences of a Nib on any fountain pen. I zeroed in on Asian nibs straight away and then proceeded to hound resellers to death ...RIP Tokyo_Russ, Parkville Pen, FPH, RealPens, Ujuku, Swisher,PensinAsia and many others

 

Well I can tell you, this Pilot FA really is something else.....

 

 

This nib has the greatest line variation of any pen that I own, the C/C is a very nice 1.1ml pump filler and my first experience of a filler other than twist C/C (I wish ...I wish ...I wish the Nakaya pens had this filler). Whilst I love the Namiki Falcon, the nib on this pen knocked my socks off. There is a review of the FA in the FPN review Database and I recommend you go looksee. This pen loves thick rich italian inks, especially Aurora Black ...and you will not believe the almost caligraphy pen-like line that this flex nib produces.

 

I purchased this pen only 2-3 weeks ago from Ujuku for US$173.00 (excluding postage)

A little story: when I say 100% or anything ....I mean it. This is unlike my own experience with another FPN member in which I had to ask 20-questions before discovering he was trying to sell me a very (VERY) used pen at almost full RRP. I would not do this to you so don't you ever do it to me.

More than anything ....the people on FPN are even better than the pens ....maybe I should start collecting people .....and Ged I would certainly buy you for 5-bucks
