All those inks look beautiful. Of the three, I have the Azure Kingfisher, and I like it very much. Is the Spider Orchid as saturated in a fountain pen as on a glass nib? In other photos I've seen, it has looked lighter.

I ended up ordering ten bottles of the Van Dieman's inks. Not entirely sure how that happened, but pretty sure @A Smug Dill sending samples had something to do with it...

I have a question about Azure Kingfisher: is that sheen I'm seeing or glitter dust (the greenish gold on top of the blue)?

 The Azure Kingfisher has both shimmer (a lot) and sheen. While I had problems with other Van Dieman's shimmering inks in pens with fine nibs, my Kingfisher flows through the fine nib in my Estie Peacock with no problem. In broader nibs, the shimmer really pops. I emphasize that my bottle has well-behaved ink in it because I've heard from Vanness and (I think) Mike Matteson that the consistency in the Underwater series can vary from bottle to bottle and I don't know if that's true of the Kingfisher. I have several bottles of different Van Dieman's inks and only one was gloppy. The rest all have played very nicely with my pens.

Oops. Didn't think to add the Van Dieman's inks I have as samples (courtesy @A Smug Dill). Again on Rhodia dot paper, with a brush and glass dip pen.

Hmmm, I'm surprised to see Zucchini looking so much lighter than Styx Valley Forest Green. In my testing, including giving the page a long soak afterwards, they looked practically the same ink. Also, when I write with Pepperberry, it comes out a lot darker, close to black.
