I am what some people might call a noob. Can I come here without being overwhelmed? None of my friends have any interest in this type of events and I would be alone.

The mental image in my mind is me standing around awkwardly not understanding anything.

Oh how much I wish I could be there, but it's just not possible. Have fun.

I really love the kids' giveaways. What a brilliant idea to get youngsters into the fountain pen habit. Those are the collectors of the future!

actually, the idea is to give every entrant to pen show a fountain pen as a giveaway... so almost 2000 pens are going to be given away at the show.... which are decently priced pens...

apart from that, there will be few giveaways by Kaweco India...

William Penn India and also some other sellers are doing giveaways

Please don't tempt me more. I bought the pass with out really paying attention to date. Thought I would visit any day other than my exam day, unfortunately show starts on the day of my exam (Feb 2) and even if I start immediately after exam it would take me 26 hrs journey approximately. Really bad luck, was very excited about the show.

I had a wonderful time today. Met some wonderful new people and learned a lot. I also got some good Krishna Inks and some Journals. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to a beginner like me. What I loved the most was kids section. Watching small children try out FP was a treat to eyes.

The event was well organized and I will look forward to it next year.
