Glad to see the happy ending! You deserve it after your fountain pen frustrations. I hope you continue to enjoy it! It is a solid choice!

Just got my first MB on classifieds, a 146 with a flexible nib! I actually prefer the look of the nibs that aren't two tone (only gold) and this 146 fit that so I am excited on the find. Eagerly awaiting arrival :vbg:

Congratulations on your new purchase. A 146 with a flexible nib means gold leaf flex?

I finally purchased a used Hemingway, Fine Nib, in excellent condition! I have yet to ink it up, but glad to have it in my collection.

Wow! Congratulations! What a beautiful fountain pen :)

Congratulations!

After it arrives, we'd enjoy reading your thoughts about writing with it.

A photo with a handwriting sample would be especially welcome.

Happy Writing in 2020!

Oh Tom, that's a shame :(

The pics are big files, maybe try again another time, see if they'll load. If not, pm me and I'll see if I can figure a solution. Can you access Dropbox from your place?

Wow!

You don't see those pens that often. Thank you for showing and may it bring lots of fun.

I was able to add another very early resin 149 from the 1960s. The stiff 18C nib is about the most narrow nib I won on a Montblanc pen.

Living in the area where I do, the government server through which I connect to the Internet doesn't permit access to most “foreign” image sites.

I've never heard of Dropbox before. Asking a local student just now, I've confirmed that it's also unavailable in this area.

Dear FPN Community and MB-Friends,

It was a challenging year for me with more with more downs than ups. (Nothing really serious but kind of frustrating.)

In addition to that my Montblanc year was not satisfying so far:

- I bought red Montblanc M ballpoint pen which I really liked. But unfortunately I lost it during a trip to the U.S. this summer.

- After that I did a very spontaneous purchase: The new Starwalker fountain pen. But I have to admit, that it is not doing so much to me as I hoped. I am only using it from time to time for short notes. It is my first Montblanc purchase which I am regretting a bit. (Sometimes I am considering selling it.)

- Three weeks ago one of my favourite writers, my Meisterstück Ultra Black Classique, slipped out of my hand and now it is damaged. I will send it to service next week.

So I decided to give a special Montblanc gift to myself. I considered several pens:

- The Beatles

- Walt Disney

- John F. Kennedy in blue

Finally I decided to go with the JFK (the beatles is still on my list) and I am really enjoying it so far. I got it with a fine nib and it is writing really excellent. Looks like my Montblanc year has come to a happy end. :-)

Merry Christimas and have good start into 2020!

Regards

Christian

That is the one Montblanc I have been looking at - only in the burgundy. I would love to hear how you like it.

No, it is a c. 1980-1990 pen with a nib that is more flexible I believe. Thanks for the congratulations
