So don't you think that for somebody a different color can make an ink a better choice than another ? Well if yo do so then the world would be just one color.

Montblanc Emerald

Tom, thanks for sharing.

One thing always bother me is that the colors in many Montblanc Ink boxes don't match the actual ink colors.

Seems that Emerald Green and those new blue inks have the same problem, again.

Jeez Tom, Christmas comes early in China? :P What an amazing selection of inks you've recently added to your writing desk there congratulations!

I took a photo earlier today of 3 rarely seen/tested inks for those who are curious what they are like. I personally have become very fond of them actually, considering adding another bottle of Yellow Gold- Calligraphy India ink before it runs out.

Loving all the ink pictures..! :D :D

I think Tom Kellie did a fantastic job on the ink comparisons, specially with the blues, it's basically the same ones that I got, but in a pack, and with a discount as I was told by the sales staff. So best to get the trio pack if you guys are planning to get most of them.

Meisterstück Le Petit Prince LE 943
I’ve been told by the store Montblanc did not plan to release those versions, but decided to do in a Limited Version of 943 pens.
I haven’t fully open the boxes yet, therefore some pictures are form the booklet.
The pens are coming with a medium nib, but can be changed if wished

I'm far behind the times. I had no idea what “RetN” might mean.

This being the Recent Purchases thread, did you order this pen...or are you bringing it to our attention for those interested in purchasing?

Thank you for teaching me a new acronym and alerting us to this model.

The pen's colors certainly live up to the name, no?

Hi Tom,

"RetN" means Rouge & Noir. The new edition of this year is the marbled one. You can find it on the MB website here: https://www.montblanc.com/en-us/collection/writing-instruments/heritage/119852-montblanc-heritage-rouge-et-noir-serpent-marble-special-e.html

I haven't ordered it, it's not really my thing but it's a colour type that many will enjoy. I find the Rouge et Noir a little bit thin
