No, since the boutiques in Indonesia does not offer the nib exchange service.

I had to order it from the head office, which will be processed via Singapore. Im still waiting for confirmation, since I requested for a 90th anniversary and a regular 149. I hope it all goes well smile.png

2-3 months is a long wait tongue.png

Interesting.

Indonesia is a large market, pretty appalling service if you are serious about making inroads.

You might as well have directly ordered from abroad or I am sure buying it from Malaysia/HK would have been easier.

Congratulations on all the 149s TripleOne. You'll soon have to have a rolling suitcase to carry them all. 😁

They dont even stock a lot of fountain pens, most people buy the BP or RB. Were limited to only Fine and Medium :(

Yes, I was thinking about ordering from Appelboom. The only problem is that our Customs here are very, very strict.

Thank you so much! I love each and every one of them.

I had three of them tuned by Eizo Fujii @ Eurobox. They write perfectly.

Like the late adopter I am, my latest MB purchase is a Heritage 1912. Took me ages to get this one.

Can't stop admiring the snowglobe-like finial.

I love the tactile feel of the mechanism and the amazing, springy, smooth F nib.

Been using it for the past week, and as soon as I have more experience with it I'll either write a standalone review or post in the 1912 thread. But so far, I'm hooked.

@1nkulus: yes, almost vintage ;) It feels so different compared to more modern limited editions. Much lighter, almost humble, less ornated and dressed up. And I really like the curved section.

@geodesigner: great choice! An instant future classic!

Cheers

I ordered 3 weeks ago a 149 in an EF. I wanted a New In Box. Everything I buy in the US is like new but used. EF is a work pen. That is coming from Hamburg. It should go out next week. I wanted to do a test run to see how customs would be because I never buy anything overseas. Since it took so long, LCDC did not ask for payment yet, and Zaddick calmed my nerves, I ordered a Heritage 1912 also in an EF yesterday. Again a work pen. When that is ready to ship from Hamburg and if everything goes ok I'll do a 149 in a B.That will be for journaling and notes. The EF's are for forms. If for some reason I don't like the B...I'll do a grind. I'll always need EF's for writing in confined spaces. The 149 is my favorite pen. The weight is right. It's big enough that I can change hand position, Plus it is a classic, elegant pen that will never go out of style.

So I bought EF's for work pens.

Thanks for asking.

David
