@Nick10 looks like the pen is engraved with initials, couldn't make it out tho.

Yes it has written initials in greek language Κ Π Π(the corresponding letter to the greek letter Π is P). This pen belonged to the seller's uncle which was a sailor. He bought it in one of the trips and gave it to the seller's grandfather and subsequently came in the possesion of him until he decided to sell it.

My wife was able to get me the MB platinum 20 pen collectors box for our anniversary. Total surprise since I have been unable to find one and have outgrown my 8 pen MB leather box.

Shout out to Larry Dromghoole for tracking it down and giving us a great deal!

Congrats on your first MB purchase! Rouge Et Noir is a lovely pen with a fantastic nib.

The pen is inked via a piston (i.e. there is a piston turning knob at the end of the barrel. You twist it open, dip the nib in a bottle, and twist the knob back to fill it up)

Ive just bought a MB 32, and am pleased with it.

Im sure Ive committed all the cardinal sins, and will be hated by all on here!

OK, heres my story.

I didnt do any proper research, and just wanted a Mont Blanc pen.

Im not going to collect, I just wanted to write more.

Ive got a couple of Lamy Safaris, and my old Parker 45?from when I was at school in the 1980s.

I suppose my situation arose from playing guitar. I spent so much time looking at new guitars, learning about new pedals and finding out about new amps, that I dont actually play the guitars I have very much.

I wanted to avoid that situation by just finding and buying a MB and using it daily.

I keep a journal and have started s 365 day writing prompt challenge. All to use my pens and write daily.

Im sorry to offend all the purists, and hope Im still allowed to post on here!

Yesterday's Pen Show in Cologne, Germany was a great chance to pick-up something significant & "spidery" to close another gap in the collection ;-)

Cheers

@TripleOne: you are missing some "O"s ;-)

You are correct, that’s why I have placed an order for two O3B 149s ;P

I am the first customer to have ordered a pen from Germany from the Indonesian Montblanc boutique, if all goes well, it should arrive in 2-3 months.

You mean, you bought two 149's from the boutique and they have now sent them to MB for a O3B nib swap.

That's great news! All pen collections need a few Os!

Indeed! :)

No, since the boutiques in Indonesia does not offer the nib exchange service.

I had to order it from the head office, which will be processed via Singapore. Im still waiting for confirmation, since I requested for a 90th anniversary and a regular 149. I hope it all goes well :)

2-3 months is a long wait :P
