Me, too. I keep giving myself the no-more-pens talk and then Oh Look Shiny!

That's so true.

That's so true.

I have failed miserably this past week, so many pretty pellies!

A vintage pen case to match with the pen of its era & design.

I am dripping with envy at so much reptilian style!

I found a Pelikan 300 set. The 300 fountain pen, with a M-nib, a 350 pencil and a 355 ballpoint pen. The set looks in pretty good shape, except for a small crack in the band of the fountain pen. Since you don't see to many Pelikan 300 sets, I still thought I should buy it.

I think I've been overdoing it a little bit (buying Pelikan pens), so no more pens for the rest of the year! At least, that's my intention. Last pen I bought is a Pelikan 500 with a rolled gold cap and knob. The cap has a few smal dents. I don't think these dents can be repaired, so I will just have to live with that. The color is green striped. It has a beautiful 14K HF nib.

What a great find! That's no doubt one that took some considerable time to locate and secure. Congratulations!

Great find. During the last couple of year, I saw only 2 300 series fp..and one was cracked too-just above cap band. I guess, quite common for 140,300,400NN series..

I've waited for a long time, uncertain whether I shall get one or not. But finally I stumbled upon a very nice offer for the Pelikan M1000 with an EF nib, so I could not longer resist. And here the black beauty is:

Barruti, that Royal Platinum pen has never looked so gorgeous! It never occurred to me to want one...until now. I recently re-bought the m600 Vibrant Green, a necessary addition to my green pen collection, especially since my focus is Pelikan. A few months ago, I also added the m620 Stockholm from a member here who was kind enough to sell me his.

Congratulations on your purchase! The M1000 is a beauty. I'd love to see a writing sample from that marvelous nib; it must write like a dream.

Enjoy!

My plans early this year were

M600 Vibrant Orange

M800 Stone Garden

M101N Lizard

The new M101N

(and vintage if it happened)

things turned out differently, I started from the bottom

first I got this 400NN tortoise (seller's photo)
fpn_1564601082__pelikan_400nn_tortoise_.

then I got this M600 Green o' Green (seller's photo)

fpn_1564601455__pelikan_m600_green_o_gre

and then this M805 vibrant blue, which is still shipping (seller's photo)

fpn_1564601711__pelikan_m805_vibrant_blu

(sorry, I still need to take my own photos of the pens)

the other four are still in the wish list...

:yikes: What nice pens! I missed buying the green when it was available, and the blue was too expensive for me. :(

Barutti:
Nice get! While your Raden pen is very flashy, I have to admit that 100N says Rolls Royce Wraith to me. I guess I'm just a sucker for all things classic.

Thanks, I have been looking for the G o' G and the Vibrant blue for a while... (and also the B o' B for that matter...which is still lacking) I also missed buying them when first out. And price does not seem to come down much... so, oh well, saved up some...

I'm still tempted by the vibrant orange, M600 is really my preferred size.

All of your new acquisitions are gorgeous, but I really love your vintage 400NN tortoise. It's stunning! Particularly with those red/amber lines. Congrats on all three!!!

I have, like Nyanzilla, just taken the leap and plunged into M1000 ownership! Me: confirmed vintage user! I was browsing the FPH website (they are in NYC, for those not in the know -- and FPH stands for Fountain Pen Hospital) and -- lo and behold! -- they showed a mint green-striped one with fine nib in their "back room"...I have been tempted by this model for its fruity nib, about which many Pelikan fans have written here and, on impulse, I called them and bought it. They said it would likely take a day or two to get to me...I have received it within 24 hours! (UPS ground service)

The pen is amazingly smooth in both filling and writing departments: what a revelation! And, yes: there is flex! (I'm in love) (Oh, and the other day I also received my new Soennecken Rheingold 616 from ImQuagmire in Hungary! Also a delicious pen with wonderful nib...)
