Wow! My six Dollar pen piston fillers arrived today! I suppose that that's part of the wonder of paying more than 26% of the purchase price of the fountain pens for Priority Mail and insurance :roller1: .

On a sacred quest for the perfect blue ink mixture!

I hope all six work! I got a 3-pack and one had the tines too far apart to write at all.

I`m waiting on a Lamy CP1 Platinum that I bought yesterday. It is mint, but I have no clue which nib size it has. If I don`t like the nib I`ll send it to Lamy for an exchange. Now still four days to go until Tuesday...

Just took advantage of PenChalet's FPDay deal on a Diplomat Traveller with medium nib in the "flame" color. This will be my first Diplomat so I'm curious how it will write.

8 other ink bottles on the way....embarrassed at how much I spent on this FPDay!

Ugh, today was expensive.

Opus 88 in broad from penchalet for 50 bucks

Aurora optima 997 Flex in blue from endless pens (37% off... was under $240)

Esterbrook estie + adapter for $120

and a pilot falcon metal on ebay for $80.

So you were the one that saved me $50! I wanted one of those so bad but no broad nibs were available by the time I came across them.

I didn't really want a broad, but that was the only nib size they had.

I am anticipating a TWSBI ECO in Purple(Medium Nib) and a few Diamine inks. I am also considering an ECO in Green\(Medium Nib)

A Lamy 2000 from Cult Pens with a fine nib. They were 10% off with a free bottle of Lamy ink. It will join a medium 2000 I have used for years.

An awesome, iconic pen. Great choice! I have a BB with such a specific sweet spot that I'll have to get it reground.

A white TWSBI Eco with 1.1mm stub nib that I bought on amazon, fulfilled by TWSBI. I had $12.48 in rewards money. Sprint gave $5 to use at amazon on the one-year anniversary of my becoming a Sprint customer.

Amazon price $31.99 - $17.48 = $14.51

Last year while researching TWSBI Ecos, so many reviewers had white Ecos, and most had filled theirs with blue ink. I bought a black version last year, but the white version stayed on my mind. I think I’ll fill mine with Waterman South Sea Blue (now Inspired Blue).

Once the white Eco arrives, it will be my fourth TWSBI Eco.

I went to pen club, and a member had a Moonman M2. They have been on my radar, but getting to use it. Well with the title of this thread, you know where this is going. Ordered, and already thinking I might put Sheaffer Skrip Red (new) in it.

I'm now waiting on a trio of nib regrinds

a spencerian mod for my new pilot metal falcon

A japanese EF grind on my aurora optima flex

and a reverse architect/japanese EF grind on my mont blanc 149 (if Gena Salorino thinks it's possible, otherwise she's just gonna do a normal japanese EF and tune it so it doesn't require pressure to write)

Waiting on a Conid Minimalistica. Ordered months ago. Starting to salivate over it again. Another poster here has said Conid is currently 9+ weeks behind, per his comms with them. So...early 2020, probably?

The white Eco arrived today! I flushed it, and it is drying now. I was going to put De Atramentis 225 Years the US Constitution, then changed my mind and thought of Waterman South Sea Blue. At pen club a member/friend gave me some samples including Franklin-Christoph Spanish Blue, which is now in the running.

Just about done waiting on a UK seller of the 'black mist' plaisir. Looks like I'll have to send an order to the distant lands of Yooesay.
