Very nice -- is that a custom job?

I keep hoping that someday I can afford to have Shawn make me a pen. I have a pretty good idea as to what I want but don't know if he still has the rod stock I spotted in a photo a couple of years ago (looked like same color as the old Parker and Pelikan Lapis material from the 1930s).

I've got a restored Conklin at my mailbox, and a no-name pen with a Warranted music nib should show up next week.

Then I should stop.

Really.

It is based on Shawn's "Knickerbocker" model. The barrel is Jonathan Brooks' "Combustion" resin. The other material is also a Brooks resin. The particulars of the design were mine with consultation from Shawn. Neither of the posted photos shows the Griffin cap medallion I had made by Mike Redburn. This pen was planned in my head over nearly a year. I think it turned out pretty well. I should have it in hand Monday.

Shawn's custom queue is now about a year. If you know what you want, he will put the materials aside from you, if they might be hard to get.

Third times the charm? I'm waiting for a Lamy 2000 M. I first had a L2K F that was nice but I had gone to liking wider nibs. Then I replaced it with a L2K in B which was too wide, and sold it. I hope the L2K in M will be just the ticket.

Two NOS JIFs, duplicates of two I already have, Flags and Pennants and Indian Maiden; hard to resist at $9/ea. Still hoping to get another Cat and Mouse.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Thanks, but probably not in the budget at the moment. I kept hoping to win the raffle he had for people who donated to his scholarship fund. But of course that didn't happen... :(

An M200 Cafe Creme. I paid extra for "signature required" so I'm fairly confident about actually receiving it.

Conid K DCB DB FT TI no nib with a hopeful ship date of 06-NOV-2019. Received my BB stub nib from another vendor and it looks wonderful, I can't wait to try it.
