Waiting for a Waterman Exception Night and Day... Large size with silver trim and a medium nib. I've wanted one for almost 15 years, but never found a good deal, or found other pens I wanted more... (I'm looking at you, limited edition Pelikan's and Visconti's). The right one came up for the right price...

After being sold out for over a year, a new batch of Wing Sung 626s just went up for sale and I was finally able to get one in that gorgeous deep blue flecked celluloid! So excited to finally have a pen that I had totally thought would never be available again.

A Sailor Limited Edition Profit Junior-S Stainless Steel Fountain Pen in purple. I can't wait to recieve it.

<i>Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a boy who will learn your favourite flower, your favourite song, your favourite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won't matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart-Leigh Bardugo

And the Purple Cosmos has now been processed through the ISC in New York as of this morning. I saw last night that Royal Mail had turned over tracking to its counterpart (i.e., USPS) so now I have signed up to get email notifications....

Getting very excited! I had figured that with the relatively low number of that color being made, I would have zero chance of ever getting one (or at least not for anything below nosebleed prices) -- so I'm hoping that I'll have it by early next week.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Just received the Nakaya. I was anxious to use the soft medium, but had decided without trying it to get a PB CI. I was surprised to find the nib is very fine. Then I wrote with it. I was even more surprised to find the nib very smooth. It is relatively wet, though the line, while dark, remains quite fine. I filled it with Monteverdi Horizon Blue. I haven't written on good paper yet. This is a treat. I may not have a modification done. A beautiful pen, with a wonderful nib.

That nib sounds like a keeper. :thumbup:

Got a very pretty vintage Mentmore Autoflow in blue/black celluloid on the way. I've wanted to add a pretty celluloid lever- or button-filler to my collection for quite a while now, but was quietly hoping to snag a Waterman 512v in grey-blue after I missed out on one in 2017 or so. Finally admitted to myself that that pen wasn't happening anytime soon, and this one was an intriguing alternative.

A Waterman 5 with a Red nib. The seller seemed genuinely enthusiastic about its writing qualities, and I was too cheap to win the Pink nib on offer.

Probably shouldn't have, but I just ordered a Graf von Faber-Castell Tamitio Calligraphy set to fill up the wooden box that came with a medium I was gifted for Christmas (and some GvFC inks to go with in Deep Sea Green and Hazelnut Brown). It just looked weird to have only the one pen in a three pen box, and this way I can use two of the three calligraphy nibs together.

I was under the impression that I’ve stopped buying pens like it was the end of the world...

Then I’ve recollected all the pens I’m waiting right now:
- 2 TWSBI’s ECO just because of cap colors I still don’t have plus inks;
- Another Ranga;
- one Platinum 3776 with a music nib (that’s my first Platinum);

oh well. Does it have a cure?

No cure that I know of.
