I got tired of waiting for a Wing Sung 601 demonstrator coming via SpeedPAK. Last seen passing US Customs ten days ago and nothing since. So I ordered a green 601 from Amazon and will have it in two days! I should have gotten the demonstrator that way. It would have only cost me $3 more.

Oh well.

The 601 is an excellent pen, I hope you can find enjoyment out of it.

Today, I received a beautiful Stormtrooper (white/black) Jiffie from the assortment dboulonnais has up in Classifieds. Woot!

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Found a platinum Lamy CP1 with a 14k oblique medium for $140 shipped.

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

Waiting for a Rosetta Magellan in blue marble with a 1.5mm stub I sniped off eBay. The nib sounds interesting but given my lefty grip probably won't get used. I'm hoping I can fit a Sheaffer oversize balance nib I have instead.

I posted I was waiting on a Pelikan M400 White Tortoise, but tracking shows it returning to the seller. This has happened twice now.

The Jinhao Shimmering Sands is close to delivery. Tracking shows Tuesday, but it might arrive sooner.

Otherwise still waiting on the DeLike. Funny how pens bought on eBay can ship free from China and arrive. Yet an Amazon Global Seller UK can frustrate the %#*& out of me.

I was incredibly disappointed when I saw that tracking in the White Tortoise. But my Visconti HS was nearby, and I remembered how much I love that pen. Who needs that other one anyway!

Big splurge items: Lamy 2000 EF preorder earlier, and Pelikan M800 Stone Garden on a great deal (both have been my “grail” pens—technically any M400 or larger LE Pelikan, like Ocean Swirl or Brown Tortoiseshell, has been for a long time, but when I saw photos of Stone Garden, it was love at first sight.)

Waiting no longer! The very silly Puss in Boots Vector came in the mail yesterday -- in spite of the advertised ship time of over a month! :bunny01:

Haven't had a chance to flush the nib unit out yet (it's a medium). So goofy I just had to have it.... B) Can't find a Parker date code, but the movie tie-in copyright stuff says it's from the 3rd Shrek movie, and that date is 2007.

Although I had sort of been hoping that the pen would turn out to be yellow (as in how some of the pix of it and of another listing on eBay seemed to suggest) -- the base color is actually sort of a light lime green.... [boy do I miss the old "blink" smiley .gif at times like this....].

I'll have to temporarily salvage a twist converter from another Vector until I have a chance to order one, or break down and stick a cartridge in it.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

A package arrived today, but surprisingly it was the DeLike not the Jinhao. I ordered the Delike last and it arrived first. The Fude nib is an EF. At first I thought it was a standard nib, but I can see a slight angle.

Esterbrook Relief 2L should be here tomorrow.

Baptiste knew how to make a short job long

For love of it. And yet not waste time either.

I was a big spender this time on a $7.50 Jinhao 51a with NianGao acrylic with Bobby's hand ground nib. What mainly got me was waiting a pen with that Acrylic. I have it on a PenBBS 471 but wanted to see it on something bigger. It doesn't come up very often on PenBBS's models.

PenBBS 308 in Snow and a 355 in Smog. My second and third PenBBS pens. Over the last 3 years or so I kinda lost the urge to acquire (thankfully!) and added no pens to my collection in that time. I still rotated through my FP collection daily however, and even managed to completely use up between 12-15 bottles of ink (Diamine 30mls and Sailor 50mls). In recent weeks however I was gifted a PenBBS 267 in Amber and a Kaweco Sport in Fox and the acquisition bug has bitten me all over again :)

I'm waiting on my Wahl Eversharp Bantam (Century of Progress) to come back from Eversharp, fully repaired. A week or so left to wait.
