Two Leonardo Momento Zeros - one in Positano and the other in Red Marbled - both with stub nibs. They should be here by the end of the week. :D

Wow - very attractive piece of writing equipment I must say, and the pen gets excellent reviews for performance to boot! I also note that replacement/alternative nibs are available at very reasonable prices and if they only offered a flex nib, I'd buy one of these at the drop of a hat! Both the colour options you've chosen are dazzling, but I also like the "Horn" and "Sea Stone" colour options too. I can feel a rush of blood coming on for sure!

Well, I exceeded my February allowance ;(

Expected this week:

* Pelikan M800 Renaissance Brown (broad)

* Pelikan M800 Burnt Orange (broad)

* Pilot Custom 743 with FA nib. "uber-feeds" from flexiblenib.com (2 and 3 slit ebonite) are already here and waiting for the pen.

* two auctions ending today. I almost wish I don't win them... My wallet is screaming.

Had been planning on an extra fine, Platinum PTL-5000 later this month but a fine nib one came up on Amazon for under £30 so I jumped on it.

Looks like it's coming from Japan (EU was heavily implied but I wasn't born yesterday), so will have a long wait and some customs fees to pay but it's still quite the bargain.

Aurora Ipsilon Sterling/Black EF (I did NOT make the mistake of ordering italic -- based on a sample size of two, Aurora italics are just toooooooo sharp-edged for comfort).

Arguing with people on the Internet is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are at chess, the pigeon will just knock the pieces over, s**t on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

Fine Pilot Kakuno Demonstrator, from Hong Kong...so I have quite the wait.

Couldn't not add at least one "smiley nib" pen to my modest and humble collection!

Noodler's Ahab - Yellow (to add to my yellow pen collection).

UPDATE: Arrived, and has been placed in a small bag of baking powder where it will stay for about 3 wks to remove the odor. All of my Ahabs have received the same treatment, and they are all odor-free.

Hi,

a green marpled Mabie Todd Swan with late #4 H nib to be restored:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Vintage-Swan-Mabie-Todd-Fuellfederhalter-gruen-Zelluloid-/173810355495?item=173810355495&ViewItem=&nma=true&si=eOUAyAv5N6bDdJ9aJoIyli%252Fwgys%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The nib is bent and I expect the sac to be defective as usual...

Best

Jens

Escape from New York!

I'm getting a pre-owned Montblanc 149 from Europe... it took 2 days to get to New York, 2 days to get out of Customs, and now 4 days its been "in transit" at the Queens distribution center. Very discouraging.

Been on a Lamy binge, of late. Now have a yellow safari, a vista, and an ocean blue al-star, on the way.
